Walking tour of Rome

A pleasant walk to discover some of the elegant squares and monuments of Rome will be the goal of the “Walk through Rome” tour. We will immerse ourselves in the Rome of Bernini and Borromini but also of Ancient Rome.

The tour will start in Piazza di Spagna, which with the Spanish Steps, the Barcaccia fountain and the house museum of the English poets Keats and Shelly, is considered one of the most beautiful and photographed squares in Baroque Rome.

From here, we will continue towards the Trevi Fountain, one of the most famous fountains in the city itself and all over the world, and therefore towards Piazza Colonna, the center of business and political life in the city. Seat of the Prime Minister’s Office, the square takes its name from the presence of the column erected by the Senate and the Roman people in honor of Emperor Marcus Aurelius.

We will reach the Pantheon, one of the most majestic monuments erected by the ancient Roman civilization. Initially the temple was dedicated to all pagan gods, then converted into a Christian basilica called Santa Maria ad Martyres.

Reached Piazza Navona, we will stop to admire the spectacular Fountain of the Four Rivers, built by Gian Lorenzo Bernini, which stands splendid and imposing in the center of the square and the Church of St. Agnes in Agone, built on a project by the architect Francesco Borromini.
