We will visit some of the most famous monuments in the world: the Colosseum, the Pantheon, Castel Sant’Angelo and the Altare della Patria. We will enter the Roman Forum, the heart of republican and imperial Rome, where temples, basilicas, triumphal arches and majestic columns stood; and in the catacombs, the areas of the city where the first Christians secretly gathered in prayer.
We will walk together in Baroque Rome, on an itinerary that will touch the Spanish Steps, the Trevi Fountain, Piazza Colonna and Piazza Navona, with the beautiful Fountain of the Four Rivers created by Gian Lorenzo Bernini.
We will also access the Vatican Museums, towards the Sistine Chapel, frescoed by the greatest Renaissance artists, such as Perugino, Botticelli, Ghirlandaio and Michelangelo; and the Basilica of San Pietro, the center of Christianity, which houses, among other works, the famous Michelangelo’s Pietà. And again, we will discover the most beautiful museums in the city, such as Galleria Borghese and Palazzo Barberini.
